Elandowyn at the oprhanage

[Dragon Claire]

Elandowyn enters the orphanage and checks in on the children there and tells the carers that she will be in her room and that she is expecting some friends to be joining her shortly. She then settles down a chair and waits hoping the others take the hint.

Alvarion eventually finds his way to the orphanage, he knocks on the door and waits for a reply. Once the door opens he asks to speak with Mother McCrae. He follows the carer to Elandowyn's door and knocks quietly.

[Dragon Claire]

"Come in" she calls from the room.

Alvarion opens the door and steps inside. "Good evening Elandowyn."

[Dragon Claire]

"Good someone took the hint. The last thing we need is the entire adventuring community up on a sodding treason charge"

She gestures to one of the wooden stools about the room

"Grab a seat, I hope the other wont take to long"

[mcbale]

Alvarion slowly lowers himself onto one of the stools. "Dark times when such conversations must be carried out in secret behinf closed doors." He shakes his head and takes out a small book and starts to write something. "I am attempting to write a short song, but it is difficult to get it started, I have melody in my head but the word won't form."

[Dave]

*a tapping of wood on wood and the door opens*

so what needed to be discussed in private?

[Dragon Claire]

"Welcome Juss. Largely everything to do with Tholon. As I had said previously we were discussing it in the middle of the pub were we could get ratted out to the guards and put up on Treason charges or worse we could be overheard by spies."

She hesitates

"I also need someone to give me a reason not to do something really bloody stupid."

[Dave]

Is "because it bloody stupid" not reason enough?

[mcbale]

Alvarion slips the book away, looking up as Justarian enters the room. "And what 'bloody stupid' thing do you need to be stopped from doing?"

[Dragon Claire]

"Contacting Hytalia under truce"

She pauses to let it sink in

"You have seen the Holy Mother Rose's post about the vision from Lady Vleybor about the all the Thirteen being required to Defeat Tholon yes? We know Abraxis and Seraklan's Primate's are taking their churches over. Have they asked Hytalia to go? If not should we convince her to? Or should we just take the risk that she may not come and we all die because we are short a Primate."

Alvarion sighs deeply, "I have read what the Holy Mother has said about the vision and yes you are quite correct, that is a bloody stupid thing to do but it may be neccessary." Alvarion shakes his head, "I can not give you a reason not to contact her, the vision from Lady Vleybor shows us as much, if there is even the slightest chance that she will not be there, then the risk of failure is too great to be ignored."

[Dave]

so how do you propose to make contact? are you the best person to do so considering your history? what risks do you forsee?

"As a side note, how is everyone provisioned for out journey? I've managed to find a back up weapon, an old short from when I first arrived, but it needs a repair, do either of you know a way?"

[Dave]

what kind of repairs? was it shattered or was it just sub-standard to begin with? If its the former, then yes. Ill need at least 1/- and the parts for a day.
