"I don't know if it's really Vampirism per say, the way it appears to work is that the victims suffer from rapid, premature aging as their life force is stolen." Gray looks to Squire Ingram. "Sorry Evelyn, we are talking about a certain power the current Primate of Githas seems to have at her disposal and how it could combatted." Gray shakes his head "We are solemn community at the moment, the faithful here have suffered great tragedy and loss. The Cathedral lies in ruins. Some of our own adventurers have been slain, one of the fallen was a very dear friend of mine and the Primate of Githas appears to have taken up long term residence in a tower on the Elf lands. So I honestly hope you aren't looking for cheer cause it is doubtful you'll find much around here for a while. The one person you could usually look to to make you laugh and raise a smile has also been lost to the adventurers life."

Duncan enters the Pub with message in hand and looks around at the patrons looking for someone.

Duncan spots Gray and walks over to his table and slides the message across the table to him. " When you need me, you know where to find me", Duncan leaves the tavern without another word.

Auraleigh looks across the room and notices the goings on between various people congregating the the bar. She notices the hugely tall elf in green, the man in red robes who looks of religious sorts, and the knightly looking woman by the corner table.
They looked like adventurers, she could smell it. She always had a good sense of smell. Aura licked her lips. The taste of adventure was in the air. Hopping off the stool, she toddles curiously to the group.
"Hello, I hope you don't mind me intruding. You kind of looked a bit like adventurers... and well I guess I'm looking for some adventure!"
She smiles with a glint in her eye at the three.

Lysandus sighs, taking a chug of his pipe as he exhales, "Come now, Grayson. That is hardly to tone needed towards new potential friends. Those that have fallen would not want us to mourn them, I do not think. Or that is the impression I have, in any case." His attention turns back to the Squire, an almost relaxed expression on his face as he puffs out, "Do not mind the good Father, he, like most in this establishment, has lost a fair bit in the past weeks."
His attention would turn to Duncan as he approached and then promptly departed, a raised eyebrow as he exhales, "I had no idea he was also a messenger. I shall have to remember that." A wry smirk on his features and a simple gesture as his glass would be refilled and then his attention would turn to the halfling, "Hm. I must admit a certain amount of surprise. I thought most halfling prefered to stay in one area, congregate and cook. Oh well, there are always exceptions to the rule."
He smirks again, simply gesturing individually to each of them, "Father Grayson Kelly and Chaplain to the Rose Order, if I recall correctly... Squire Evelyn Ingram of the Black Order and Lysandus Tathadiir of the Mages Guild. Please, feel free to join us. It seems to be a day of new faces." Puffing once more, he smiles and relaxes further, merely eyeing Grayson's map. A concerned look would pass over his features briefly before serenity would wash over once more.

Auraleigh grins enthusiastically at the elf.
"Thank you. Auraleigh Potts, although, everyone calls me Cookie. And yes. I do like to cook... and eat... and drink... I mean... what kind of crazy person doesn't!"
She flashes back her cloak briefly and shows off her frying pan "... and just for the occasions when I'm hungry on the go... I'm always prepared with a snack or two. I guess I'm an apprentice. I just joined the Alchemists guild. I thought I'd put my cooking skills to practice. "

Lysandus lifts an eyebrow in interest, "Ah. An alchemist, you say? Interesting, interesting. I must admit, I would prefer an alchemist I can communicate with more easily when I am in need of such supplies. Perhaps, in the coming days, we can come to some sort of accord. I am told that that specific arte can be quite expensive in the long run and seeing as I travel quite often, I do tend to... partake in others areas problems when they arise, shall we say?"

Aura blinks curiously
"That sounds so much fun! I'd love to travel! I guess once the guild entrust me with some useful recipes then of course. I love to make things."

"Do keep me informed on what you can make. I can assure, I pay well for such things, especially given the current issues over Norham, or Ithron... Or Lirron... Or whatever the non-elves call it now." He chuckles, then shrugs, "Tell me then. What do you hope to achieve in your time adventuring? What brings you to the adventurers life?"

"What I would like to do? Beyond service to my Lords and the Order, try and make this world safer for the people in it. There is also an old keep of the Order within Clydesdale I would very much like to see restored and back in operation." She smiles wryly "perhaps though that is not what you meant?"
She listens to the Chaplain's description of the situation and nods. "That does appear to be a most challenging problem." She listens to his description of the recent losses and sighs. "I do not come here seeking merriment. As I have said I wished to meet other adventurers. Familiarising myself with current issues in the region is both beneficial do please continue. I know the burden of your losses must weigh heavy on you but know that they now rest easily within Kharach's halls."
She looks up briefly as another young man approaches the table and leaves.
"Is that young man another adventuring companion of yours?"
As the Halfling joins the company she politely nods as she is introduced. As the Halfling states that she would be interested in travelling she speaks up.
"If you are interested there is a cart travelling down to Tisa Valley come week end that will arrive in time for the hirings there. I have passage arranged for myself to travel there. I will be returning via Firebridge to report to my superiors however if this interests you I would be glad of the company."

"Ah, yes..." Lysandus remarks to Evelyn, almost looking a little peturbed, "Tisa Valley. My Master seems to have once again gotten herself into trouble. I'll be heading down in that direction to assist her. From what I understand of the situation to the south, she and the current Primate of Longstor are trapped somewhere. Sounds about par for the course, to be honest. And here I thought the students were meant to get into more trouble than their masters." He chuckles in amusement and a glint in the eye.

As a cheer is yelled from the table at the far end of the tavern, Dave leaves the table with a sour look on his face and wanders over to the small gathering... "ach well, ye win some an' ye loose some." Dave shrugs and his demenour quickly changes to being generally happy, nods to ly and Gray. "Care tae be introducin' me tae te young lassies?"

Auraleigh looks between the knightly looking woman and the elf.
"Tisa Valley? That sounds awful excitin'. Mind if I join you on the cart?"
She turns and looks upwardly at Dave.
"Hiya! I'm Auraleigh, but my friends call me Cookie. I'm going on my first adventure! ... with um... Lysandus and Evelyn"

"Then I shall see you on the cart Auraleigh and you also Lysandus"
As another man approaches the table and asks for and introduction she bows her head slightly, as unable to bow fully whilst seated
"I am Squire Evelyn Ingram of the Black Order. And to whom are we making the acquintence of?"
