Alvarion's jaw suddenly drops and seems speechless for several seconds. "The.....the Primate of Githas? May it not have been an idea to tell me that sooner? This changes things." Alvarion shakes his head, looking at the map again. "Is there anyway to slip inside Torrance, without using a gate?"

**From outside the room an approaching voice can be heard ** <<Elvish>> Elandowyn McCrae... Mother. It is always nice to hear a familiar voice when returning to Barra. **Entering the room is a elf dressed in yellow and green robes carrying a long wooden staff** <<Ithronian>> Guildsman Enchanter Langriass, A Pleasure to meet you all. May I be of assistance?

Alvarion's head snaps round at the voice, a look of surprise evident upon his face. He stands up from the map table looking at the newcomer. "Alvarion Northwind, Guildsman Scout. Good to meet you." He looks back down at the map, evidently hoping to spot something that may help them.

"Justarian? Where have you been all this time! I wish I had time to catch up but I shall approach the task at hand." She places documentation on the table
((OOC i have been trying to attach the document all night however the thingy doesn't like it so I'll email it to those that want to look at it.)) This is the history of Torrence as Muir managed to find before he was captured as well as Hytalia's rewritten heretical vengeful nonsense. I don't remember how bad the situation was when you last adventured Juss, however the Githasian's have been draining the life energy of the people of Torrence and briefly the dwarves of the Silver Catacombs. Their priests can stop the effect in Torrence as well however one of their number is currently being held by the Githasians. Equally it turns out Hytalia is the Githasian primate and has a mask that allows her to cheat death by switching places with someone else." She takes a breath. "I think that's the basics of it."

I was not aware we would have a primate of Githas in the area, but from my recollections Torrence has been in Githasian contol for quite some time, but was the least of our worries at the time. Obviously things can change in a season or so. Hytalia, that name rings a bell (OOC: I can't remember if I played or monstered that adventure). Well Elandowyn, I really am going to need your spiritaul guidance after this one. It already seemes like i've really pissed of Bequifess, now were going after the Primate of Githas... Praise be to Tralda, praise be the seven. Were going to need all the good luck we can get cos I cant think of anything more... <<elvish>> okay, yes I have done more risky things, but not really intentionally.
(OOC: yes please, e-mail me the file)

Upon reading the second history, a look of pure anger erupts onto Alvarion's face. "Praise be to Seven." Alvarion places both histories back on the table. "Knowing the history of the town is all very well, but I still don't see a way of getting to the tower unseen, if what you are saying is correct, Elandowyn, the fighting once we get inside will be hard enough without having to fight our way through the town to reach it in the first place."

Elandowyn nods. "Which is why we need a distraction. A small party can pass unseen, especially when there are few eyes to observe them. Other than this unless there are secret passages into Torrence unknown to us that the Elders know of then we should be prepared for a fierce but efficient fight, saving as much energy and resources for the tower as possible."

"Are any of your allies willing to provide enough of a distraction? I am not afraid to help fight our way through the village, but I don't mind admitting that I am currently not perfectly equipped to handle something like that."

So we wait for missy to leave on her quest, taking most or at least some of her guards with her. Attack missy's band, allow 1 to run away and call for re-inforcements and then sneak in once the numbers have been thinned?
sounds too easy, well the band fighting missy will have the hard slog and it requires them to call for re-inforcements... not ideal. any better plans?

"Wait until she leaves, have one of our allies attack one side of the village, drawing most of the forces to that spot to defend, leaving the other routes in much lighter guarded. Allowing a smaller group to enter with little or resistance, well, until we reach the tower anyway."

"But the cost in life could be high to whoever is trying to draw the forces off, so if that can be avoided it would be for the best."

so which allies are you going to ask to to undertake such action? I dont have any allies which I would readily ask such a thing of, not again.

"I refer to the allies Elandowyn mentioned earlier, I personally have no allies to speak of, for I doubt any message sent would reach the Glen in time."

"The fae we could ask to perform one favour for us. The army of salvation, if we can get in contact with them, could be asked to resume their blockade. They're representives of the elders and the dwarves here to speak to as was part of this meeting. I do not have all the answers. All I do know is this not going to be easy and the better prepared we are the better our odds of success."
