Who's going to come and take the fight to Tholon at the end of next month? I'll be travelling and would welcome as many of you as would come. We have to defeat these undeady, demony, sort of whatever they are things. I'm told there's a plan! I don't know what it is. But if you get in touch with your guild/church heads they should have more information for you. As it stands, I'm thinking that our healing fund might be needing a little bit of aid. So please, if you have any spare, please considering pooling your money and gifting it to the Healing Fund. We'll need all the healing and alchemy that we can get if we're to fight this war. Rust is the physician in charge of the Fund, and I'm sure he'd be happy to accept any donations, however small. I know that I can't give myself, but I hope that those who are able to will. We have to protect each other and work together in this. Praise be to Crowa, Praise be to Vleybor. Saffron

Praise be to Tralda
I shall be in attendance. I believe that Rust may have local matters to attend to but he can confirm this himself as I believe he will be available at the hirings next month. The healing fund will be probably be carried and distrubuted by myself again if this is the case.
The approximate value of supplies taken to Oluthen was 40 crowns and this barely enough to get us through the trip. The current fund stands substantially less than this.
Also do not rely on the healing fund alone. If you are able to do so bring as much alchemy and bandages as you can carry.

I will be in attendance. I'm debating whether it's better to donate to the healing fund or just spend all my pay on bandages and medicines.
Steve.

Either way I suppose that you'll get either a split of the healing fund or have your own, so I doubt it matters. I'd like to point out that I am able to take donations of alchemy and bandages etc to carry, I'm just not able to buy my own. I will have my normal allotment of bandages but I'm afraid that's only 3. Have we any real idea of what we're walking into? I know that we're 'taking the fight to Tholon' and that our goal is to get rid of the undead/demony leadership, and apparently there's something called the Lord of Shadows or something too... Someone who's been around a bit more able to shed any light? The Bestiary of Tholon is available on the National notices so I think maybe this is something we should have a look at too. In more important news (obviously)- if anyone wants to bring anything to decorate Camp Lirron (the tent...) please do. We'll need all the morale boosting we can get. I still have it from the trip to Oluthern.

See this the thing. I've been told the kings council don't want us discussing this openly in case the Tholonese find out what we're doing and... well... the pub is a bit open.
There has been a description of what's going posted through the adventuring network though. And the churches orders and guilds should be discussing these matters centrally so report in and you should see what is going on.
Steve firstly you know what you will require for treatment of casulties so I would suggest you purchase what you need and anything leftover go to the healing fund. Also I know not much has been said in the guildhouse so I shall send you and Rust a missive later on

Maybe we could ask for a private room in the Cathedral or something?
I also heard that last year some people from Lirron had a song that they all sung together. I think that's a great idea and we should totally write some anti-tholon songs...
Oh Flower of Lirron... ...And fought against them, the Tholonese Army!
I'll take the high road and you'll take the low road and I'll be in Lirron afore ye, for me and my true love will never meet again on the bonnie bonnie banks of Braeloch...
Let the winds blow high, Let the winds blow low, Across the seas in my kilt I go And all the zombies shout Hello! Tholon where's your troosers?
Just... you know... I think maybe I have too much time on my hands between adventures. I may start some sort of hobby...

I agree. Anything else we need to organise? I for one am going to be glad to get this mess sorted.
So, role call so far is:
Going -
Me, Saffron, defeater of many evil bad foes and stuff, lover of trolls. Elandowyn, Baronet, Mighty knocker-downer-of-Abraxians and beloved of the Primate of Githas. Alvarion, less that be said the better. Seryn, faller-offer of chairs and daughter of pea-farmers, subduer of midges.
Hopefully going -
Steve, physician of great worth and protector of Ogres.
Anyone I'm missing? Saffron

Everyone's welcome to come kick some ass! Will be good to see everyone together. So often we end up having to pursue separate goals on hiring days...

Just for some additional knowledge. I am unsure who know what about deamons, but Master Meeks - deamonologist - has produced a basic introduction on the lesser deamons. for those who are intrested I will have this transcreibed and added to the Guild Library, there are apparently no guild secrets so it should be avaliable for all. www.goandlarp.com/wiki/index.php?title=Misc:Demons2

Just to keep this thread moving. I aquired some Alchemy yesterday as payment for my mission I will be brining this along for the stock, I hope your respective guilds have advised you bring a stock of personal supplies as well. It is expected that we cannot replenish once we get there.

Yeah. Sounds like supplies will be a pain. The Roses are sorted but any mercs or scouts going need to either take a few sets of armour or speak to a Smith in advance and get armour repair sorted. Even if you normally get free repairs so that includes knights.
Take enough prayer and spell cards with you too.
And make sure you can carry it all yourself... no baggage train for this one...
