It looks to be a somewhat sparsely filled shop with some empty weapons racks. There is what seems to be a new suit of leather armour and what look to be some boxes of varying sizes amongst what seems to be curiosities more than anything of use...
a human in some very worn clothing seems to be re-arranging some boxes behind a counter. He looks up after a time...
*good afternoon, Sir. Sorry about the mess, Still unpacking.* wipes his hand off on a rag and offers a hand to shake *David McGowan, how might I be of assistance?*

Gray takes the proffered hand "Grayson Kelly, Kindred of Crowa but I prefer Gray. Don't worry about it, looking to talk to a blacksmith about some weaponry? Can you help?"

"Well, I'd need to see what I can afford, but longsword, fair sized shield (not a buckler but not a glorified door either) and a short sword, to start off with, we can always go on from there if the cost isn't gonna be too great."

Oh yes, I will also need to see a valid permit before I can complete any transaction. These are all restricted items.

"Ah, right, I will check with the church on that one and see what the situation is. Cheers for your time." Scratching his head, Gray leaves the shop.

Gray walks into the shop a day or so later, now wearing the red robes of a priest of Crowa. "Hello again Dave, sorry about that mix up the other day, didn't know about the whole permit business. I am told as a supplicant priest of Lady Crowa that I don't require a permit."

"Please, I am not a Brother, if you wish to stand on ceremony call me supplicant but I'd prefer you didn't. Aye, the longsword, shortsword and medium shield. Would it be possible to pick them up before this coming weekend? I intend to head south for a hiring."
