Gray walks into the Cathedral, a puzzled expression on his face. He walks over to the Crowan shrine and kneels in silent prayer for a few moments, he then stands, bows and walks away, heading for the Traldan shrine.
He approaches one of the attendant priests. "Forgive my interruption, I am looking to speak with a member of the church of Tralda, I believe she is an elf, goes by the name of Elandowyn I believe. I'm afraid I do not know her rank within the church only that she is Traldan."

The attendant nods "The returned mother. She is preparing to begin her supplication upon Fool's Day. Praise be to Tralda if you are lucky then she will be..." he turns round and scans the pews and smiles and points to the figure in blue kneeling before the front of the shrine shuffling a deck of ornate playing cards "in her usual spot in prayer."

Gray nods to the attendant, "Thank you" he then walks over to where Elandowyn is kneeling and takes a seat on the pews behind and quietly clears his throat.

Elandowyn jumps, swearing in Elven and quickly puts the deck of cards back in a small velvet bag and looks around at Gray. "Praise be to Tralda. You gave me a fright. What can I do for you?

"Sorry bout that. Touch of a difficult matter. When you were talking with other lady the other night, the Crowan lady, you mentioned the name Alvarion as being among the dead back in Tholon. I am sorry to ask but there's a name on the lists of the Crowan church, Novice Alvarion North wind, it's not exactly a common name, is that the same lad?"

Elandowyn nods slowly and sadly "Aye that's him. Died on a mission with the Crowan church against Abraxians. Poisoned blade so I hear. He was a good man, one of the many we lost out there. Far too many we lost out there..." she tails off and looks distant for a long time.

Gray nods sadly "It is always sad to hear of anyone died and forgotten about by those that fought beside, I guess he must have been lost among the others who died." He shakes his head. While he speaks he takes a small piece of paper out of one of his pouches, along with quill and ink, writes a short note, he then stands saying "Excuse me for just a moment I must quickly sort this out." He strides swiftly out of the cathedral but reappears a few minutes later. He walks over to the Crowan shrine and kneels before it in prayer once again, he then stands, bows and walks back to Elandowyn.
"Sorry about that, but some information should not be left. They will not be forgotten you know? Not so long as there are still people who remember them. I like to think of myself as a bit of scribe, should you wish it I could see about setting quill to parchment, record the fallen of Lirron so they can never be forgotten?"

"If that is your wish then you do not need my permission. I have added the names of those I know to the list of the fallen held by the adventuring community. Alvarion was on it. But there are two names I will remember but never speak, they were Kharachian you see. Here may I?" She takes a piece of paper and writes down Morgan Falkenrath, Defender of the Faith of Kharach and Steve Hall, Guildsman Physician.

"Overlooked twice then." Gray looks at the paper and shakes his head. "Terrible losses, just terrible. I'll look out the names of the fallen later in the day and set to work after the weeks end, once I return that is."

Gray looks around him, deep in thought, then has a rather sudden realisation, "Excuse me Elandowyn, there is something very important I must deal with." He then stands and hurries out of the cathedral.
