Praise be to Tralda on this her holy day!
Today is Fool's Day. A day of merrymaking, fun and mischieviousness. When spirits are high and the Lady seeks for us to come together in her joy and light. Today you may play tricks on each other or have a trick played upon you, however the Lady is kind and does not wish us to cause harm with such acts but for them to provide merriment to all concerned. Their is wisdom in the Fool and being tricked can teach you things about yourself but also providing joy to those who witness and learn with you.And of course you can surely return the favour.
For I have learned through a trick, as Tralda gave aid through one once. In Dunlirron we had been investigating a woman who had been put to sleep and could not be awakened. We found part of a ritual that had indicated that it had been the work of heratics in service to the Lady's dark brother and a word would awaken her but this word was missing. I prayed for guidance and feel the lady upon and put me to sleep. My companions awoke me and as they spoke the Lady continued to make me fall asleep until I realised that when one of my companions said sleep I fell asleep. In this I realised She was showing me the word we needed in her own way and indeed this did wake her.
We have seen such darkness of late. We have lost many fine adventurers from across Lirron and Ithron to the blight of Tholon and the Konn. But we are free of that taint now and Tholon can be free of the shadow of undeath that stalked it and look to the light of the Seven. We have much to celebrate and be thankful for. Join me in celebrating the Lady's day. Today I step back upon the path to priesthood. I return to serve my Lady as I have before. My death in Tholon was unfortunate but I was granted the chance to return to serve the people that need our aid. My road I walk again with joy in my heart from this day forward.
Praise be to Tralda
Praise be to the Seven
In service and faith to Lirron and Ithron
