Gray walks into the cathedral, a look of uncertainty clear upon his face, he walks directly to the shrine of Crowa and kneels before it, his head bowed. After a few moments of silent prayer he opens his eyes and stands, bows and backs away, only turning his back on the shrine once he is part way back into the pews.
Gray then looks around for a familiar face, not directly seeing her, he walks towards the shrine of Tralda. Speaking once again with one of the Priests attending the shrine, he asks that should Elandowyn come in that she be asked to find him, he will be sitting by the shrine of the Allfather. He believes that it is a very important matter.
He then turns away, walking back towards the centre of the cathedral, he takes a seat in the pews a few rows back from the shrine and looking a little uncomfortable settles in and begins to reflect on the events of the previous hiring.

Elandowyn enters the Cathedral and approaches the Shrine of Tralda and kneels in prayer. Once she has finished a priest approaches her and gives her Grayson's message. She thanks him and approaches the shrine of Sidhe. She bows respectfully and praises the Allfather before approaching Gray.
"Grayson you wished to speak with me?"

Gray looks up slowly, his eyes are darkened as if he had not slept well for days. "'lo Elandowyn, Aye I do." Gray stops for a second takes a breath. "I was hoping to speak with you about the one we are setting out to hunt in a few days time, I wish to know as much as I can about what we face before we go to face it."
Gray begins turn something over in his hand, almost absent mindedly.

She sits down and takes a breath. "Where to begin? There was the collected thoughts on her I wrote for the Vleyborian church prior to the Tholon campaign. I should have a copy of that somewhere. However she is, or was, a girl from Torrance who had been forced out because of her selfishness and greed. She thought herself better than the rest of the community and was cast out. She returned to Torrance with her followers under the cover of the Care Company plague last year, taking advantage of the fact that priests and physicians were struggling to reach them to offer aid, a temporary reprieve from the curse, and to preach. Eventually they had enough of a foothold that she took over and threw the elders in the dungeons and started to drain the life out of the people ageing them to the point of death to keep herself young and powerful. She then spread into Silver Catacombs and took control of their mines working them to near collapse and draining what was left of their lives when they could work no longer. We cleared them out of the mines and with the help of dwarven priests of the Seven we removed the curse from Torrance and forced Hytalia and her followers flee into the hills were she has Dark Elven allies. We tried to locate her, as we have a personal item that can be used. However that ritual nearly killed me, twice.
The other problem is that she is able to cheat death. She has a mask that she can put on a victim that they cannot remove. This allows her to become that person until such time as she sustains a mortal wound. The target then becomes themselves again with all the wounds sustained by the primate. The person so controlled can see and hear everything that is happening. If the mask is removed from the victim it will disappear probably back to her so there is no way to keep it away from her."

Gray looks more than a little concerned upon hearing this. "So, let me get this straight in my head. Currently, it appears as if she can't be killed, while she has the mask she could be inside anyone wearing a mask of that particular dark god, who's name I will not speak here.
I read what was written in the Daily Adventurer, about her Defender of the Faith, are they likely to be with her at this time? Trying to fight the Primate will be difficult enough."
Gray looks to the sword strapped to his belt. "She must have other followers of her faith aiding her and fighting for her, what can you tell me about them?"

She thinks for a moment "not quite
It's a specific mask and she is more on the outside than inside" she shudders "my apologies my knowledge of this is mostly from first hand experience."
"As for allies for the most part her followers are devotees that wear green masks and are heavily armed and armoured and skilled fighters. She also has a number of Harpys with her. She has dark elven allies that I have not encountered other than through visions and all that told me was that they are heratics."

"Well, that could make things a little difficult." Gray shakes his head. "So, how do we find her? Did that note you read at Dave's have any clue about where she is?"

"I still have the hairbrush but no longer have the means to cast the ritual of locate. The map showed a series of deaths over the last few weeks 3 near Braeloch, two in either Barracks or Driech, as it was written between the two on the map and I could tell which it belonged to. And the most recent was in Glen Moss. Baroness Glass is hiring this Saturday to look into it."

"Hopefully the Baronet will have some insight into what is going on and may have an idea of where we should start. These Harpies, how do you kill them? Just in case we run into one, can never hurt to be prepared"

"They will fall to normal blades easily enough.The problem is they are horrifying to look upon. They often hide at the back of the group or have their faces concealed so they can reveal themselves to devastating effect causing all that look upon them to wretch and vomit. They can also entrance people to adore them with but a touch so it is best not to get too close or if you do to be light on your feet. They also use magic to effect the mind usually to worship them or attack allies"

"Not that I recall, she herself wears no armour and carries but a blessed dagger though her prayers can destroy weapons and make people unwilling to fight her."
