Opens the door to the pub quietly and walks over to the bar, sitting on a stool. He leans his warhammer up against the bar, the head resting on the floorboards with a clunk. Taking down his hood he slides a metal tankard and a few copper coins onto the bar.
"Mead, please, innkeep."

Pulls a letter with a broken wax seal out of the top of his tunic, and opens it, placing it on the surface of the bar.
"I'm looking for anyone of authority for Traldans here in Barra, with the Cathedral gone I don't know where to look. That, and I'm looking for any mutual associates of both Mother Elandowyn of Tralda, and this person.."
He taps the letter on the table.
"Captain Seryn Niven, also of Tralda. Can you help?"

The barman thinks for a minute and stares at the letter.
"The local priests will be in lodgings in town set up after the cathedral collapsed no doubt. I think Father Ernest was their most senior priest. As for those two good, customers and and missed ones at that. Both were in here with the local adventurers all the time you should ask around them though I think they both knew the mage that's in here often, Lysandus."
He scratches his head "other than that you could try the orphanage. The Elven lass was the founder so someone there would know her."

"Now now, Barkeep," An elven voice replied, the flourish of golden robes stepping to the counter, "Talking about me already? I did not think that I made that much of an impact." He grinned lightly and waved a hand, indicating his usual with an aged twinkle in his eye, "Now if you would be so kind? Wonderful, thank you."
His eyes then turned to Erik, "Now. Whilst my ears might be long and pointy, it doesn't particularly help in the savage lands of civilization. To whom were you looking for?"

Turns on the creaky wooden barstool, tankard in hand, to see Lysandus standing there. He considers the mage for a moment, then nods his head.
"Derwentshire, you were there right? I'm sure we met in passing. Nice to see another adventurer in here."
He picks up the letter from Greyson and puts it back beneath his tunic. He takes a deep draught of his drink before introducing himself.
"My name is Erik Mortensen, and I'm looking for information on the past missions and goals of Mother Elandowyn of Tralda, and Captain Seryn Niven, also of Tralda. I dreamt of both of these people, though I didn't know Seryn myself, during the first of this month, which I believe was a Traldan holy day. They told me I had work to do, and I'm fairly keen to find out what that might have been. Did you know them? I figure someone who did might be able to tell me about common goals they shared.
Erik pauses, looking slightly sullenly into his tankard, then back up to the elven mage.
"I owe Mother Elandowyn a debt I can't ever repay in full, so I figure I should find out any last wishes and try to carry them out."
