The golden robed elf wanders into the bar, a look of determination on his face, hunting for Greyson. Hopefully finding the man, he wanders over to the table upon which he sits, "Greyson. This is going to sound like a peculiar request, but I require your balls. ...The ones you aquired from the santa automata's sack." This is said with a distinctive look of seriousness.

Gray picks his head up off of the table, his face ashen. Without a word he takes the ball out of the pouch on his belt and rolls it across the table. He just looks at Ly, his face pale, he looks as if he has seen something truly terrible.

Lysandus takes the ball, then frowns, "...Tell me." That's his only words.

"I found the bodies Ly. The bodies of my brothers and sister. The other faithful slaughtered by the mithrans. They were just dumped in the woods and left to rot." Gray's expression remains entirely unchanged, his voice almost monotone.

"I know." Lysandus starts, a frown forming on his features, "Listen, Greyson. You know that I'm not one to blunt my words. You know me well enough by now to know that. There will be a time to mourn those that have fallen by the hands of the enemy. You owe it, to them, to stand, fight and reclaim that which has been lost."
"I refuse to allow these transgressions to stand and quite honestly, I'm going to need your help in the coming days. Do not allow the pain you are feeling overshadow that which needs to be done. That which MUST be done. Understand?"

"I know what needs to be done Lysandus. These shits won't be left to get away with this, I intend to get to the Earl personally." Gray shakes his head, his facial expression clearing a little. "I've been invited to attend a fae court in few weeks time, I'm going in looking for reinforcements and aid."

"Be cautious with the fae, Greyson. They tend to take things quite literally."

"This won't be the first time I've dealt with Fae, I know how to watch my words around them. They can be a powerful ally, I intend to bargain with their Queen."

Seeing Duncan enter the pub, Gray slams his chair back and moves towards the table. "What are you doing here Duncan? Barra too boring for you?"

The three men accompanying Duncan seeing Gray's approach rise hand on weapons, Duncan raises a hand commanding them to hold back then says somberly without looking at Gray "My friend Gray I believe your anger is misdirected" he then takes a drink from his tankard

"You sided with them Duncan. You tried to remove one of the few people who has the strength in numbers to stand against that bitch you call an Earl." Gray's hand begins to flex.

"Hytalia will get hers eventually, but you're too short sighted to realise what the Mithran's are doing and the impact it will have."

Duncan rises not raising his voice his face stern "I have sided with no one, I saw an opportunity to rid the world of a clear evil who at this time is at large and probably killing innocent people to grow in power, I used an asset that failed to do as planned while you blinded by your zealousness took her word out of hand at a time when we had no proof and treated her like she was your friend. You Allied yourself with her, with a heretic. But you are to blinded by rage to see any point but your own and to discuss that matter any further would bode ill for us both the mithrans have shown there face and are a threat to the people of Lirron and Ithron alike and I will defend against them as I am sworn, As We are sworn to do, in this can we not agree? If you must know I am here to return the holy symbols of the fallen I manage to collect to their appropriate shrines and compete in the tournament in a few days time."

"Gentlemen." Lysandus states, lifting his voice calmly. An exterior of calm also accompanies, except within the elfs eyes, which have almost taken a fiery visage, "You are both better than this. Sit down, before more issue is raised." Folding his hands, he continues talking without even waiting for them to blink, that inner fire mixing in with his words, "We, all of us in fact, have made commitments to one thing or another. The man all of us target is a traitor, a murderer and a lying, decietful old hack that simply shows that corruption is at the heart of some men."
"Each of you have taken a seperate path in order to do what is right in your own perception. I am -not- saying that either one of you is entirely correct in your thought process, nor am I suggesting that I would have done things differently. But quite frankly, gentlemen, this isn't about us."
His voice hardens somewhat, eyes narrowing, "This is about the innocent loss of life. This is about the safety of those that remain. This is about the truest sense of righteousness and I believe that you both see that. I will -not- allow such travesties to continue and I will -not- allow us all, as allies, to destroy one another before the battle has even begun. Focus on what is needed to be done."
"Additionally, there was a quote that my father taught me long ago that I believe both of you should consider in the coming fights. It goes, "I'rail telnoi cel'ri melir il'i iral lisari." In Ithronian, it means, "The greatest harm can be caused by the best intentions." Remember that well, because sometimes... Just sometimes, we need to do harm in order to commit to the greatest good."
