Announcing a grand tournament

A crier stands in the centre of Dunlirron Square. "Hear ye, Hear ye. It is my great pleasure announce that a grand tournament will be held upon the XIV of Shoring. With fabulous prices the victor of the events.
These events are to include a one on one duels and a grand melee. Weapons in both can be lethal or non-lethal to allow any and all to take part, healing for injuries will be supplied."

During a break Arran approaches the crier and lodges his interest.

Lysandus wanders up to the crier, gesturing to gain his attention, "Sir. A moment, if you would."

"Yes my good man? Can I be of assistance to you?"

"Whom might the patron of this event be?"

"The first prize for the Grand Melee has been gifted to us by Captain Morgan Steiner of the Mercenaries Guild. The overall patron is the Earl of Dunlirron, Sir Konrad Aldread of the Black Order. He wishes to recognise the work of the adventuring community and sacrifices many have made."

Evelyn notices the crier as she comes into Dunlirron and smiles grimly. She briefly stops to lodge her interest and checks a message carefully kept in her pouch before heading to the taverns on the upmarket end of town with a look of determination on her face.
