Duncan awaits Benedict's arrival in his Keep, in a room with large shelves, a desk and a few chairs, the room is otherwise largely unfurnished.

Benedict arrives early, clutching a folded, sealed note in one hand. After showing it to the militia at the door, he is let inside.
"Sir Duncan, I recieved your invitation. Thank you. How can I help?"

Duncan greets Benedict "Hello there my friend, I am having a bit of bother putting together a library kind of study area and since I hear you intend to follow a path specialising in libraries I though you would be the man to ask"

Benedict looks around, stroking his beard. "A study, mmm? Well, the first thing I'd do if I was in your position would be to pay the scouts guild for some detailed maps of your holdings and the areas around, that will let you plan ahead if you wanted to expand to a village for the smallfolk or build a bigger keep later on. I didn't get a full look at your holdings as I travelled here but, after maps you might want to collect a census of people living on your lands and store it here for tax purposes and the like. After that, it's down to what topic you intend to study."

"with everything thats been happening in the last couple of months i havent had much pause for the administration of this holding. I'm going to attempt to et a firmer hold on the goings on but at the moment the dust is just settling" Duncan sighs, "As for the study, I am currently trying to study the creatures of Ithron and Lirron" Duncan points to a few leather bound note books on the table "these contain notes on my personal findings and experiences"

Benedict glances over the leather bound notebooks and nods "I'd recommend having a scribe copy these into a larger tome that you keep secure here, and that you continue to keep notes like these to add later on. Collecting the knowledge of others to fill other books, or simply collecting books yourself might add to this beastiary you seem to be building. I assume what you want is to learn how to defeat dangerous adversaries."

"Exactly and to pass on what I might find to others, I find that the average adventurer today knows nothing of the dangers these creatures pose" Duncan opens one of the volumes, on one page scribbled notes on the other a charcoal drawing of a fish like creature, "take the gredilow for instance no Idea they existed til they were in front of me"

"Gredilow.. Not a creature I've faced myself. Once Barra has settled down, unless there is one in Braeloch, you could take a trip to the paper maker and have yourself made a number of large, blank tomes to write in, then just fill the shelves with your adventures and the creatures you face. It's probably a study you need more than a library, but if you can have someone scribe copies of the volumes I can pass them on to the Templar library. I think in particular Lirron is largely unexplored so gathering knowledge about it's dangers might be a worthwhile goal."
