Arran walks into the pub and starts up a lively conversation with the barman about the stealthy glacier that has snuck up on Dun Lirron and wondering what adventuring folk should do about it...

Maugrim walks in to the Pit Upon seeing Arran and hearing the conversation he nods sagely " aye yer right lad it has to be some type of terrible fae magic that would allow the ice to sneak up on us that quickly "

Greetings Maugrim, but the question is if it is fae magics what do we or can we do about it?
I'm going to head up to the ice edge for a couple of days to assess its progress and see if any mundane means can hold it back.

'Thanks Maugrim the company would be most welcome. But we'd better get going before it gets any closer.'
Before leaving Arran puts some money on the bar and asks the barman to keep the conversation going with any adventuring types that come in.

Arran walks back into the bar and asks for a hot drink. "Brr so the ice has stopped, don't know why but its not getting any closer to Dun Lirron" takes a swing of the drink the barman provides "And that's the good news! Bad news is that flame & heat does absolutely bugger all to the stuff, so waiting for a spring thaw doesn't look like an option"
