People of the Valley
Fear us not!
Your nobles tell you we have taken Cannock and slain their Barron out of malice.
We liberated it!
The people of Cannock have shed off the role of subgated peasant and now look to defend themselves and live prosperously for on their own strength for we have shown them the way.
Your nobilty and the fool adventurers who do their bidding do not understand us or our sacrifices. We were cast out by you, but still we fought for you. We sacrificed our humanity, to become strong enough to achieve that goal. We collected the remains of the Mithran's tools so our benefactor could repair and repurpose them to defend your roads. We patrol the roads and remove threats before they have a chance to surface. We hunted in the forests so the villagers of Cannock did not starve.
What have your nobles, lawmen, adventurers done? Listened to old elven folk tales and undone our work, murdered the man who should have been the rightful Barron, threatened us and these hard working villagers in their homes.
They have done nothing to aid the valley because they care not for any of you. Only the gold in your purses will sate their hunger.
We move in shadows because we must. Allow us to walk among you in the daylight. Allow us to show you our strength. Allow us to show you your own strength.
We are the Pack. We are strong because we stand together. The nobles may rule the land but they need not rule you. We are not the Mithrans who cut you off from your greatest tools. We encourage you to use your talents to the fullest.
Those of you who wish to become self sufficient and learn of our strength may come to Cannock and learn from us. Those who do not may continue to languish at the mercy of nobilities whims.
We ask you make the right choice.
The Alphas of the Pack

*copies of this noitce have now surfaced in Braeloch as well, supposedly brought by a trader who came back through the valley recently and are passed about the tavern and marketplace. There are few lines scrawlled on the bottom*
One of your own has joined our number. Unfortunately not your adventurer Baronet, in fact, where has he been for you lately? Those of you prepared to travel are more than welcome to answer our call.
