This is a message to all the Edinburgh folks (and Glasgow folks who may find themselves in the area) that I've set up a group account at the Borders Scrap Store in the Fisherrow Community Centre in Musselburgh. They have all kinds of craft/sewing/cloth bolts/jewellery supplies/knitting/paper craft/twine/rope etc and other random things all the time (I bought a few big burlap sacks £2 and Tris bought a couple of HUGE pieces of leather for £8 each) Super cheap! Normally it costs to be a member, but as Tris and I were joining anyway we just went ahead and set it up for FnH members. So its FREE for you to use.
Ok so if you want to take advantage of this, their opening hours are limited Mon 1:30-4:30, Wed 9:30-4pm and Fri 12pm-4pm. When you get there, all you need to do is sign in and put down you are an FnH member and that's it. Shop away! Ah and it's cash only, so remember if you want to buy something to have cash on you.
