The Clansman Express brings grave news. The Earl's spokesperson recently sent us this statement:
"On the VII of this month, year MXIII, The honourable Earl Richard Kincaid passed on in a raid on his Estate by the group, 'The Care Company' who are no longer trading. He has been laid to rest by the Kharachian Church and his family would ask for people to respect their privacy during this sad time.
The Earl's successor, Margaret 'Maggie' Kincaid has accepted the position and wishes to thank all those of Clydesdale who have already offered condolences. She would like to inform everyone that a public tribute where anyone may go to pay their respects will be held in the Cathedral over the next week. All are welcome and notes of condolence can be left for the family to read."
We at the Clansman Express want to say thank you to the Earl for all his great work; His rebuilding of Barra into a more renowned and safe town, his love of his people and unending patience and kindness.
We will miss you.
And welcome, Earl Margaret Kincaid. You have rather large boots to fill but we've no doubt that you'll rise to the challenge.
