A tribute to the Earl in the Cathedral

A large painting of Earl Richard Kincaid is set on a small table near the centre of the Cathedral. On it is some beautiful flowers and a scattering of other, smaller bunches of flowers with little cards attached.

Each little card has letters scrawled on it, messages of grief or tales of how the Earl had been a good man. There are some with drawings from little children, and some stained with tears.

The Priests move amongst the tribute as people come and go, many in fits of tears.

Lily enters the cathedral in a sombre black dress and shawl instead of her usual bright red. She seems slightly uneasy like she doesn't belong and clutches a small bundle underneath her shawl. After a few moments she sighs and joins the mourners by the framed picture.

Tears form in her eyes as she takes her offering out from beneath her shawl - A single lily bound with a ribbon of the Kincade colours and a small card attached to it:



Lily wipes her eyes on her shawl as she steps back.

"We got them, they wont hurt anyone else now" she whispers before turning around and swiftly making her way out of the cathedral.
