Elandowyn enters the cathedral and approaches the Traldan shrine. She leaves her hat on her staff and proceeds to kneel before the alter in prayer clutching her holy symbol to her heart and idly rolling dice with her other hand as she speaks.
"Lady Tralda
Look upon me your servant in this hour of need. I know you stood with us in mines your presence was truly felt as each time we pushed our luck that little bit further you responded and I am truly greatful for your blessing. I ask that if you are so willing that the opportunity to find an end to this aging curse find me or I find it. For what little I have seen so far I cannot see the way to go. Please also continue to look upon the children of the orphanage and keep them safe in your embrace.
Praise be to Lady Tralda. Praise be to the Seven"
She stands and bows before taking her had and staff before proceeding to the shrine of Vleybor to look for a priest.

The shrine of Vleybor is well tended by three people dressed in brown, with a lady in long white robes sitting praying at a pew. She shudders and then looks up at Ellan as though woken from sleep abruptly.
"My dear, do you need some help?"

She nods "may I?" She asks indicating the pew. "I have a couple of things to ask."

"Of course," The lady smiles, moving along slightly on the pew. "I'm Sister Ysabelle of the Church of Vleybor, pray tell me what's on your mind. I'll try to help where I can."

"Thank you" she sits down and takes off her hat. "I am Sister Elandowyn. I had wanted to ask about a couple of villagers that I had encountered had made it to the Cathedral to see the priests here. When I found them they were suffering under the effects of a ritual that unnaturally aged them. Sadly of Githasian origin. I had hoped that something had been able to be done to reverse what had been done to them." She looks a bit uncomfortable "I fear I've not done the best I could to help from I have learned."

"I'm pleased to meet you, Sister." The Vleyborian lady sits back and listens.
"Yes, there were some older-looking people here. We were rather shocked to find out how young they were. Githasians..." She frowns.
"The villagers you sent here continued to get older the longer they stayed with us. We feared they might die. We performed a cleansing on each of them which seemed to slow the aging process, and eventually stop it. Although they have not regained any of their youth that was stolen from them. They are with the physicians guild now, because of their age they are suffering age-related illness."
"Could you tell me more about the threat? What you have done? There seems to be a large number of people affected by this and of course the Church of Vleybor will do all we can to help."

Elandowyn seems to breathe a sigh of relief as she is told the cleansings stopped the ageing process.
"I'm glad that you were able to help them and they will be in good hands with the Physicians guild. Thank you."
"The Githasian presence in the area around Torrence and the silver catacombs is very noticably increased seeming having control of both the villages and the mines. In both places they have inacted rituals draining the youth and vitality of the people until they aged and died. Despite killing the priests that started the rituals they seem to still be in effect which suggests the individuals were not receiving the energy. Before moving people out of the area of the ritual stopped the aging however if those I sent here continued to age in the cathedral I fear it is getting stronger the longer it persists.
There have been Harpies present in both locations also is also a Githasian shrine under the Silver Catacombs."
She pauses for a moment.
"Sorry slight tangent have you noticed any dwarven priests of the Seven from the catacombs? We rescued two from having the rituals cast upon them and met a third on the road. They said that another four had gone out to seek aid. A Vleyborian, a Kharachian, a Longstorian and a Sidhean. They thought that if each of the Seven were present that they may be able to deal with the shrine or the even the ritual. However they did not say how"

"It is my pleasure. If you wish to speak to them I'm sure they would be willing to answer your questions if it will help stop this."
The lady sits back and and listens patiently. "Did you see anyone doing a ritual on people in the town itself? Or was being in the area enough to age them? Perhaps there is two separate drainings. Individual rituals - like what you said happened to the poor souls in the Physicians guild currently, and what is happening en masse to the people of Torrance? If one continues after the event and one stops when you get away from the area?"
"If there is a shrine in the Catacombs, have you done anything to deal with it? Of course deconsecrating a shrine is difficult, dangerous and I wouldn't advise it, but there are other ways to deal with it. If you prevent the priests from worshipping at it and tending it eventually the religious magic will fade. Perhaps you could arrange for the dwarves to do that?"
"Dwarven priests..." She frowns, biting her lip. "Yes. Actually. There was one here praying at the Kharachian shrine. Coll was his name. I'm not sure where he is now, however. Sorry I can't be more help."

Elandowyn nods thoughtfully. "two different rituals? That could be possible. We never saw the ritual in Torrance but the ritual performed in the Catacombs was on two individuals. The shrine I had been conversing with the Traldan Primate and Defender of the Faith regarding my options and the safest seems to be preventing access to the shrine. The dwarves said that mine was generally disused and dangerous so I intend to ask if they would be willing to collapse the passage on either side of the shrine. Failing that placing a guard on it."
Noticing the hour is growing late she stands and bows.
"Thank you for you assistance Sister. You have been most helpful. I shall look into whether Coll stayed in town and if he said where he was going. I however have a wagon to catch to Dunlirron in the morning so should get some rest. Thank you again"
With that she leaves the cathedral and returns to the orphanage for the night.
