Saffron smiles. "That sounds like something worth doing then." She sips at the drink Marcas gave her and rolls up the parchment. "How would someone start with adventuring then? I mean, I haven't any equipment or armour or weapons... Beside my dagger."

"Can't help you on details like that, all my armour and weapons, bar my mace and knife, were given to me by the Baron. Then I just turned up at a hiring, though that was a bad one. Do you remember that hiring Elandowyn? The Silver Catacombs?" Marcas shakes his head, "That was some nasty business."

Elandowyn nods "indeed that was a nasty one. They're not all like that though"
She thinks for a bit and takes a drink. "I think the best place to start is with the guilds. They'll teach you skills to help you and others survive. Next thing would be to buy some equipment. You might not be able to afford much to start with but that will improve with experience a weapon and some bandages should be enough to start with. Then, as Marcas said, attend a hiring in the square take a job and off you go"
