Acting upon accusations made by a group of adventurers, investigations were made into the conduct of several Dunlirron gate guards. It is my sad duty to report, that 5 guards were discovered to be guilty of heresy. The most surprising was Sergeant Grant McIvor. 24 years in the job and known for his fierce dislike of the dark gods. It appears that, (after some questioning) they were tied to the dark god Seraklan. Sadly this did not help Ranger Kyle McDermott, who was killed as he tried to reenter Dunlirron. After necromantic questioning, he was found innocent of his wife's murder, and requested that he not be resurrected, so he could remain with his wife.
I express my thanks to the adventuring community and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I am glad that you have found the heretics within your ranks with such haste. And I at least find some consolation that the Ranger has found peace.

Likewise I am glad the Ranger is at peace and these heratics have been dealt with however there's still more Seraklanite's in the wilderness to be brought to Justice.

Well, we were going to make an expedition to find and cleanse some of this taint outwith the city, but our own internal affairs will delay us in our duty. Payment can be arranged for any adventurers who are willing to take the fight to the enemy.
